UK brands heading to Global Pet Expo to showcase innovations

Nine British suppliers of petcare products will be exhibiting their latest innovations on the British pavilion or individually on other booths at Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida from March 22 to 24 2017.

The British exhibitor group is being organised for the seventh year running by the UK’s pet trade association PetQuip, and six of the exhibitors will be receiving cash grants secured by the association from the Department for International via its Tradeshow Access Program.

Grants of £2,000 could be made available for eligible British companies who are in a position to act very quickly and that can comply with the terms and conditions of the funding scheme. Interested UK companies should contact PetQuip, in the first instance.

Among the new products on show are complete dry pet foods, home cooked pet food mixes, natural health supplements, dry shampoos, a high performance cooling coat for dogs, a dog bed with orthopaedic memory foam fill, a new force in pet urine cleanup, dog food packaging and automated chicken coop door openers.

Strong new business has been secured as a result of the PetQuip-organised British group at the last six editions of Global Pet Expo, the organisation says. The association has secured a prime new location for the British pavilion at the heart of the show, and predicts considerable interest in the UK products from US and international buyers as a result.

The British companies set to exhibit include ChickenGuard, Doogie Stuff Group, Dr John Premium Pet Food, Hilton Herbs, Law Print & Packaging Management Ltd, Max & Lucy, OGGI GB Inc, PetQuip, Scruffs and Trilanco Ltd.

Companies interested in future export-business creating initiatives to be organised by PetQuip should contact either Theresa Swann or Emma Lewis on 01959 565 995 or at theresa@petquip.com or emma@petquip.com.
