Following the recent announcement of a host of leading brands returning to Glee with even bigger stands, Glee organisers have confirmed that Scotts Miracle-Gro will be joining the wealth of key companies confirmed for the show later this year (20-22 September, NEC Birmingham).
Not only this but Scotts will be joined by a number of other well known brands such as Forest Garden, Bellagio Furniture, A.Mir & Co, Cuprinol, DLF Trifolium (Johnsons Lawn Seeds), Garland, Grange Fencing, Haddonstone, Haxnicks, La Hacienda, Transcontinental Group, Westland Unwins, Salco, GRS Footwear and Italian growers, Covili Franco (Vivai) Piante.
Scotts, the industry leader of lawn care and gardening advice, is currently developing its plans for the show that will ensure visitors can learn more about the company’s plans for 2011 and beyond. Jane Hartley, trade marketing manager at Scotts, said: “Glee is the major trade show event of the year and one that Scotts fully supports. The show helps us to successfully promote our extensive range of known and trusted brands and products. Our display this year will provide retailers, suppliers, stockists and the media with everything they could ever need to know about Scotts and its comprehensive range of best selling products.”
The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company’s Glee press briefing will take place on the company’s stand at 10.30am on the first day of the show, Monday, September 20, 2010.
Daniel Thurlow, Glee show director said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Scotts and so many other key brands to Glee 2010. Rebookings are going from strength to strength. We’re looking forward to being able to showcase Glee’s full potential as the leading trade event for the garden and leisure industries. The fact that many of the key industry brands have confirmed their attendance at the show is a positive sign for the industry – not only clear confidence for the year, but also a genuine endorsement of Glee.”
He added: “Over the coming months we’ll be working to ensure that Glee continues to offer something that no other garden trade show can – from key companies to innovation at every step. We’ve got an exciting year ahead and I look forward to welcoming hundreds of exhibitors to the show during 2010.”
