Designed to support in-store stocking, Direct Dispatch has opened up a wider range of sales opportunities for retailers by making La Hacienda’s mail order portfolio accessible at the touch of button.
Facilitated via a secure online portal, a host of La Hacienda customers – from garden centres to department stores – have already signed up to the Direct Dispatch service. The draw for customers has been the ability to access the company’s mail order product offering without having to take the whole range into store, as Simon Goodwin, La Hacienda director explains. He said: “We are extremely pleased with the enthusiastic response to our new Direct Dispatch service so far. Many of our customers have commented on not only how easy the system is to use, but more importantly that it is enabling them to maximise sales opportunities by being able to effectively offer customers a larger selection of products including chimeneas, firepits, firebowls and one of the most comprehensive electric outdoor heater ranges on the market.”

Users will be issued with a set of secure log-in details that enable them to directly access the Direct Dispatch portal. Orders made via this portal will then be delivered direct to the end user by La Hacienda’s dedicated delivery service.
Simon Goodwin added: “With this new, easy-to-use service we hope that retailers will never have to miss a sale, whilst also saving on the associated warehousing cost that would come from bringing more stock into store. Added to this, garden centre customers with online capabilities can tap into this opportunity to ‘virtually’ expand their online product offering, again without having to expand actual stock in-take.”
