“Competition for this category is always extremely fierce. It’s a fantastic achievement to have our new barbecues recognised by the industry for their ease of use, great value and the high volume sales potential they offer retailers,” commented Barry Page, Chief Executive for Town & Country.
The portable, flat-pack barbecues come in six pieces which simply slot together for quick assembly without the need for screws or tools. They can be dismantled just as easily after use and packed flat for storing or transporting.
When assembled, they stand 40cm high on four legs, with a grill measuring 35cm x 25cm and a handle on either side. There are three colours to choose from – lime, pink and blue – and they are packaged in a sturdy box with an integral handle for easy portability.
The barbecues have an RRP of £14.99, an SOP of £9.99 and they are available in a deal comprising a total of 40 units made up of 20 pink, 10 lime and 10 blue barbecues. The deal cost is £204.00.
