As the world’s oldest manufacturer of quality teak leisure furniture, Barlow Tyrie has diversified in recent years developing collections in a variety of materials. These have proved incredibly successful and feature strongly in the current Barlow Tyrie collection, however expert use of high-grade teak remains at the heart of the business and with demand for quality teak furniture on the up, its use can be seen in several new Barlow Tyrie ranges.
One such new range is set to be shown for the first time at this year’s Solex. Chesapeake is an extensive new collection in solid teak, initially comprising an armchair, side chair and dining table and set to also include circular dining, low tables, lounger and deep-seating. Its look marries aspects of the traditional, such as rolled armrests on the chairs and rolled edges and curved sides to the dining table, with clean, crisp contemporary touches that include nylon glides on the bottom of tapered legs.
Visitors to Solex will get first-sight of this innovative new solid teak collection from Barlow Tyrie, which looks set to become a modern day classic.
