EIGHT garden centres in the Wyevale family are launching Landscaping and Fencing Centres this spring (May 2009). The Centres will feature up to 300 square metres of display gardens in contemporary, cottage and Mediterranean styles to help provide inspiration to visitors planning a garden landscaping project.
Patrick Boyle, Buyer for the Wyevale family of garden centres, said: “One of the highlights of the show gardens will be a brick and stone ‘folly’ supplied by a specialist company called Redwood. There will also be several displays of water features. All the products on display will be available from the Landscaping and Fencing Centres either from stock or to order.
“We will have a dedicated sales counter to assist customers and the product range is intended to support people so that they can complete their landscaping task using items sourced from just one location. We have also invested in new merchandising systems so that we can maintain a good level of stock to ensure key products are available at all times.”
There is a comprehensive range of products on offer for landscape and fencing contractors, as well as for the serious garden DIY-er.
Patrick added: “We will offer competitive prices, a quality range, good availability of key lines and ease of access to the site. The Centres will have a dedicated JCB Tel truck making the collection of bulky goods easier.”
The new Centres will carry an extensive range of fencing products, including treated landscaping timbers and a wide choice of fencing and fence panels.
Patrick continued: “They will stock everything from feather edge slats to timber and concrete fencing posts and traditional and continental system fencing panels. Our paving ranges will include a new collection of natural stone and decorative garden features, as well as a paving collection from Stone Flair. There will also be textured paving and a very comprehensive range of decorative aggregates and chippings. We also offer a professional range of tools and fittings, which are available from the sales counter.”
