Patients at a Northants hospice now have ‘rooms with a view’ after a team of volunteers transformed their garden with the help of tools supplied by Gardman.
The volunteers, from the local branch of Nationwide Building Society got stuck in to the task at Cransley Hospice in Kettering, using tools from Gardman’s popular Moulton Mill range.
In a thank-you letter to Gardman, the hospice’s ward matron, Jo Craddock, wrote: “The garden area that they were able to work on has created a much more appealing appearance for the patients and their relatives not only as an outlook from their beds but also for those well enough to get out into the sunshine with some colour around them.”
Patients’ relatives helped with the watering after the borders had been planted up.
