A Hampshire garden centre is looking for a buyer after Alexander Mackie Associates Ltd. (AMA) was asked by the joint administrators, Tim Dolder and Trevor Binyon of Opus Restructuring LLP, to find a new owner for the business.
Maple Ridge Garden Centre (formerly known as Aylings Garden Centre) is located on and has a frontage to the busy A272 at Trotton and is set within the South Downs National Park, close to affluent population areas and the A3 Motorway, the administrators note.
Along with the centre comes a five bedroom detached residential house and 23.1 acres of land, located at Trotton, near Petersfield in Hampshire.
On-site buildings/structures include glasshouses, twin bay multi-spans, canopies, pergolas, a timber building housing the café along with various other outbuildings. There are also two concessions on-site (Garden Machinery Sales & Repairs and Café, both on leases).
Alexander Mackie Associates Ltd. (AMA) is seeking offers in the region of £1,900,000 plus saleable stock at cost valuation. The administrators are hoping to keep the garden centre trading whilst a buyer is found.
