Inspiring line-up of industry speakers at BETA Conference

An inspiring line-up of industry experts from a wide range of sectors will provide delegates – BETA members and non-members – with thought-provoking and informative presentations on subjects ranging from digital marketing and credit card fraud to customer service and protecting intellectual property.

First Data Solutions business development director Tony Mooney will focus on ways to combat the threat of card fraud, Bill Smith, aka The Shop Doctor, will draw on his vast experience to talk about developing retail opportunities, Richard Dearden, managing director of John Lewis, Brent Cross, will discuss the crucial role of customer service, Leeds-based Blacks Solicitors look at protecting intellectual property, Mike Berry from the Digital Marketing Institute will explore how digital marketing can help your business and the current economy will be put under the spotlight.

“The BETA Conference is the ideal opportunity for members of the equestrian trade to hear expert presentations and catch up with colleagues old and new,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “As always, we hope that delegates come along, enjoy the day and leave knowing a little more than they did when they arrived,”

The conference begins with coffee and registration at 9am, with the first presentation taking place at 10.30am after the AGM for BETA members. Delegates are welcome to make the most of the event by booking in for a pre-conference overnight stay with dinner if they wish. Conference prices have been held from 2012.
