Get the Chelsea look in your garden: Homebase introduces The Chelsea Collection 2015

Aquilegia Ruby PortGardeners will be able to take home their own little bit of the Chelsea Flower Show this summer when Homebase introduces its 2015 Chelsea Collection – a range of plants inspired by The Homebase ‘Urban Retreat’ Garden at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Created by award-winning designer Adam Frost, the Homebase Garden has been designed as an urban community garden in which local wildlife can flourish.

The Chelsea collection, handpicked by the team of plant specialists at Homebase, will include plants that feature on the ‘Urban Retreat’ Garden alongside others that have been inspired by it, including varieties that match the rich, earthy colours of the garden and others that are good for attracting wildlife.

Deep red Aquilegia and bronze Irises, excellent for attracting insects will be available alongside familiar bee-friendly plants such as Foxgloves, Geraniums and Euphorbias. Foliage plants including Tree Ferns and Hostas will also be part of the collection, as well as Yew Balls which feature throughout the Garden.

Available in store from mid April – June 2015 this is the first year that the Chelsea Collection will also be available online. Featuring a planting plan created especially by Adam Frost, the collection will allow customers to introduce a feeling of the world’s most prestigious flower show into their own gardens.

Jane Templar, Buying Manager for Garden Plants at Homebase, said “The Chelsea Collection is always hugely popular with our customers, many of whom have been to the Chelsea Flower Show and are looking for simple and inspiring ways to bring a bit of the Chelsea magic into their own gardens.  As well as the wonderful selection of plants in-store there will be plenty of advice and ideas on our website to help people get their gardens looking every bit as good as Chelsea.”

All plants are hardy and will be covered by the Homebase 5-year guarantee.  Selected lines will also carry the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

The 2015 RHS Chelsea Flower Show runs from 18 – 22 May 2015.
