Following a positive response to Gardman’s 2017 marketing programme, Scott McCabe will join the company to run the sales team servicing the independent garden centre sector, Gardman has announced.
Scott (pictured) has worked for the majority of his career in the gardening industry and has previously worked with Gardman as an agent. His most recent position was as retail director at Polhill Garden Centre. Scott’s blend of retailer and supplier experience that will be invaluable to Gardman and its customers, the company adds, and will enable Gardman to further support this valuable element of the business.
Scott said: “I am delighted to be joining Gardman. I look forward to working with CEO Pete Utting and the team to further develop our branding and reputation and to continue delivering outstanding growth opportunities and services for all our valued garden centre independent customers.”
