Business support from Fiskars

Fiskars, the UK’s leading gardening tool supplier, is continuing to provide support for its trading partners through this unprecedented time, enabling retailers to increase basket spend thanks to a combination of promotional campaigns, a dedicated sales channel and high-quality gardening tools.

Direct Sales Initiative

Fiskars’ dedicated sales representatives continue to be on hand to support the trade and ensure retailers can meet consumer demand.

Through its direct sales channel, which helps trading partners order products without the need to use a wholesaler, Fiskars has been working closely with its retailers to offer them a personalised experience, as well as access to the brand’s expertise, knowledge and merchandising.

Retailers have been able to tap into the experience of the direct sales team to help them develop eye-catching point-of-sale for their stores, in addition to having easier access to Fiskars’ high-quality tools.

Planting happiness

Following a successful 2020 spring trade offer to support the company’s ‘100% Happiness’ marketing campaign, which provided numerous sales opportunities for participating retailers, Fiskars is once again supporting the trade with a brand-new autumn offer.

The 100% Happiness campaign is based on the beneficial effects gardening can have on physical and mental wellbeing, and centres on promoting gardening as a welcome escape from busy, stressful lives, in addition to a way of helping people relax and find more happiness. This has proven to be more important than ever this year as consumers spent more time at home throughout the summer.

The autumn offer, running between 1st September and 15th November 2020*, is designed to both incentivise garden-loving consumers and increase basket spend. Customers who spend a minimum of £50 on any Fiskars tools at B&Q, Homebase and selected garden centres will receive a free Happiness Box, which consists of an Xact™ Trowel and tulip bulbs, allowing consumers to get a head start on the spring season. Customers simply need to upload their proof of purchase to www.fiskarshappiness.co.uk, and the Happiness Box will be sent in the post.

Making the everyday extraordinary with technologically smart tools

Fiskars is committed to offering high quality tools that offer product innovation and meet consumers’ needs in an evolving marketplace.

Current range highlights include the QuikFit™ collection, which is one of Fiskars most efficient ranges yet. Allowing gardeners to undertake more tasks using fewer tools, the QuikFit™ range provides the trade with an opportunity for increased sales thanks to its breadth of products.

With a host of multi-use features available due to its interchangeable selection of 35 double hardened steel FiberComp™ heads, consumers can purchase additional products to add to their QuikFit™ collection, which offers increased footfall for retailers.

Georgina Taylor, Trade Marketing Manager for Fiskars, comments: “It is very important we continue to support our trading partners through the colder season. Our direct sales team have been working together with retailers to ensure they can strengthen their offering through creative marketing solutions, striking POS and the unrivalled Fiskars range.

“We were delighted with the trade reaction to this year’s spring promotion, which helped unlock great sales opportunities for our retail partners. On the back of such success, we look forward to our next autumn offer launching in September 2020, which will help consumers prepare for their spring gardening and incentivise sales.

“Throughout the rest of 2021, we will continue to extensively showcase our range of advanced and high-performing gardening tools to help retailers build business and delight Britain’s gardeners.”
