“In an economy in the grip of austerity for some time to come, we can build on almost 35 years as a leading premium barbecue supplier, and the recognition this brings from visitors to garden centres, which remain a first destination choice among consumers looking forward to garden and patio entertaining”, says Outback’s Mark Osborne.
Outback has highlighted its signature models in a new ‘Select’ range, including 2013 refinements such as treated wood fold-away tables for easy storage, cast-iron burners for more consistent heat distribution, and lava rock to provide the sought-after smokey flavour. Outback’s top seller, the Meteor gas 4-burner is now also available in a new striking blue.
In the latest ‘Which?’ report the new Outback Spectrum Select Hooded 3 Burner Gas has been selected as one of their ‘Best Buys’ describing the product as “incredibly sturdy and stable with a superb finish” receiving 5 stars for flavour and stability. Out of the 5 ‘Best Buys’ selected in 2013, Outback had 3 models within the selection. This follows on from 2011 when the Outback Omega 200 Charocal and the Outback Spectrum 3 Burner Hooded received the same award. This shows that the Outback range consistently outperforms other barbecues in independent testing.
To complete the picture, Outback has developed its own brand of outdoor leisure furniture for 2013. The ‘Outdoor living’ range offers the latest choice from a new range of light weight textilene and padded vertical relaxer chairs and recliners offering 6 reclining positions, all in a selection of contemporary colours, such as blue, red and silver to add a final touch to the eye-catching Outback promotional theme ‘It’s simply a matter of taste’.
