A Bradford Garden Centre has launched a unique competition to celebrate its continuing collaboration with a Yorkshire gardener and TV presenter.
Tong Garden Centre has partnered with Leeds based garden designer and ITV’s Love Your Garden presenter Katie Rushworth for the second year running and is celebrating by offering people the chance to win a ‘money can’t buy’ prize.
Competition entrants will have the chance to win one of 10 personal plant shopping experiences with Katie Rushworth plus £30 to spend on plants on Saturday, June 9.
Of the competition, Tong Garden Centre marketing manager Jo Dales said: “If you’d love to spend half an hour with Katie, picking the perfect plants for your plot, complete the entry form in-store.
“Simply tell us, in no more than 50 words, why you deserve a personal plant shopping experience with Katie before May 31 and we will select 10 worthy winners.”
Katie, who works alongside Alan Titchmarsh on ITV’s Love Your Garden and Love Your Home and Garden, added: “I love inspiring people, sharing my plant knowledge and garden design expertise! With my help, let’s select plants that could transform your beds and borders into a gorgeous garden! I can’t wait to meet you!”
Katie has also given her Show Garden, which is open to all at Tong Garden Centre, a fresh new look this year and will be advising people how to achieve year round colour, flowers and texture with her monthly plant picks to create a garden with annual interest.
Jo concluded: “We’re thrilled to be working with Katie again as her warmth, passion and knowledge make her a natural fit to work with the team at Tong.”
