BEES Seeds & Gifts adds new team member

Gift and garden product supplier G Plants has announced that it has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Paul Egan.

Paul will be working in the north of England, focusing on garden centre and gift store sales. Paul has 14 years’ experience in the industry, initially selling large garden decoration, adding other categories in the last few years. Now Paul is hoping to expand his range of products to include gardening gifts from BEES Seeds.

Paul commented: “I have been a sales agent since 2003, initially selling garden water features for several clients, adding garden furniture and gas barbecues to my portfolio in recent years. The garden trade industry has changed over the past few years with giftware coming to the fore. I now sell a broader range of products that appeal to today’s market and look forward to being a part of the BEES sales team.”

G Plants director Alex Reihl said: “Paul has been recruited especially to focus on our garden centre and gift store sales of our new brand: BEES Seeds & Gifts. This range has been developed to target the garden centre and gift market, so you will not find this range in any discount stores, which is really exciting for us.”

BEES seeds is the company’s latest brand of gardening gifts, unveiled at Glee, with a new consumer website due to launch March 2017. The range includes ‘gift’ boxes for seeds and complete growing gifts, intended for budding gardeners and in time for Mother’s day lines.

Paul Egan will be joining the sales team as an agent, alongside Nigel Clarke who is focusing on garden centres and gift stores in the south of England.
